1. Organizer

The contest “Win 12 months of medical billing” (the “Contest”) is organized by Facturation.net (the “Organizer”), whose place of business is located at 740 Notre-Dame Street West, Suite 1575, Montreal (Quebec). The Contest is governed by these official rules (the “Rules”).

2. Contest period

The Contest begins on August 17, 2026 at 8 a.m. and ends on November 27, 2026 at 3 p.m. (the “Contest period”). Unless otherwise indicated, all times mentioned in these Rules refer to the Eastern Time in effect in Quebec, namely Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) or Eastern Standard Time (EST), depending on the date concerned.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible, a person must, at the time of entry:

  • be at least 18 years of age;
  • be enrolled in a medical residency program and expect to complete their residency between August 17, 2026 and December 31, 2027 inclusively;
  • plan to begin a medical practice in Quebec and be eligible for the medical billing services offered under the Facturation.net Agency plan;
  • register for at least one eligible webinar presented by Facturation.net during the Contest period;
  • provide accurate and complete information in the webinar registration form and agree to enter the Contest on a voluntary basis.

Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of the Organizer are excluded, as are persons domiciled with them and members of their immediate family (father, mother, brother, sister, child and spouse), whether or not they live at the same address.

The Organizer may require reasonable proof of identity, age, enrolment in a residency program, expected residency completion date and eligibility for the Agency plan. Failure to provide such proof within the time indicated may result in disqualification.

4. How to enter

Entry is free and is made exclusively online through the registration form for an eligible webinar. To obtain an entry, an eligible person must, during the Contest period:

  • complete the webinar registration form, including the mandatory fields for last name, first name, email address and expected residency completion date;
  • registration for the webinar constituting confirmation of entry into the Contest and acceptance of these Rules.

Limit: one (1) entry only per eligible person for all webinars presented during the Contest period. A person may register for several webinars, but obtains no additional entry and may appear only once in the electronic draw.

No entry by telephone, mail or any other means will be accepted. Any entry received after 3 p.m. on November 27, 2026, or that is incomplete, inaccurate, illegible, improperly recorded, fraudulent, automated, duplicated or otherwise not compliant with these Rules, is void. Where several registrations are associated with the same person, only the first valid entry will be retained.

5. Prize

One (1) prize is offered. The prize applies exclusively to the Facturation.net Agency plan, a turnkey service that includes full management of medical billing in accordance with the applicable service offering and contractual terms.

Composition of the prize: twelve (12) months of free medical billing services awarded under the Contest, with an approximate value of $5,500. The Contest prize is limited to these twelve (12) months.

Separate general promotion: independently of the Contest, Facturation.net currently offers a promotion of six (6) free months to residents who meet the conditions of that promotion. The winner may combine the twelve (12) month prize with this promotion if eligible, for a possible total benefit of eighteen (18) months. The six (6) promotional months are not awarded by draw, do not form part of the Contest prize and are not included in its approximate value of $5,500.

The prize must be used by the winner for their own medical billing and may not be transferred to another person or entity.

The prize is not convertible into cash, exchangeable or refundable, in whole or in part. No credit will be granted for any unused period.

The prize does not apply retroactively and must be activated at the start of the winner’s practice, in accordance with the deadline and contractual terms confirmed by the Organizer.

Eligibility for the general six (6) month promotion is determined separately, in accordance with the written conditions of that promotion. Entering the Contest or winning the prize does not, in itself, create a right to that promotion.

Services or fees that are not part of the standard Agency plan, applicable taxes and any personal expense of the winner are not included, unless otherwise stated in writing by the Organizer.

If the prize or any component becomes unavailable for a reason beyond the Organizer’s control, the Organizer may replace it with a benefit of equal or greater nature and value, subject to applicable laws.

6. Draw and odds of winning

A random electronic draw will be held on November 30, 2026 at 10 a.m. (EST), at the Organizer’s head office located at 825 Lebourgneuf Boulevard, Suite 300, Quebec City (Quebec), from among all eligible entries received during the Contest period.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Attending more than one webinar does not increase the odds of winning.

7. Selection, notification and confirmation of the winner

The selected person will be contacted by email and/or telephone using the contact information provided at the time of registration. To be declared the winner, that person must, no later than December 14, 2026 at 3 p.m. (EST), or within any longer period granted in writing by the Organizer:

  • respond to the Organizer’s notice and confirm their identity;
  • meet all eligibility conditions and provide the proof reasonably requested;
  • correctly answer, without mechanical or other assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question required by law and asked by the Organizer;
  • sign and return, where applicable, a declaration and release form confirming their eligibility, their acceptance of the prize and their compliance with these Rules;
  • accept the contractual terms applicable to the Agency plan and to the use of the prize.

If the selected person cannot be reached, does not respond within the prescribed time, refuses the prize, answers the skill-testing question incorrectly, fails to provide the requested documents or is declared ineligible, that person forfeits all rights to the prize. The Organizer may then hold a new random electronic draw from among the other eligible entries, on the same terms, until a winner is confirmed or the Organizer reasonably determines that it is no longer possible to award the prize.

Only the person officially declared the winner will be contacted as such. The Organizer may announce their first name, last-name initial, university or region only after obtaining the required authorization.

8. Verification and conduct

All entries may be subject to verification. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any person who, in its reasonable opinion:

  • attempts to circumvent the one-entry limit or to tamper with the registration or draw process;
  • provides false or misleading information;
  • uses an automated process, a false identity or several email addresses to enter;
  • acts in a manner that interferes with the proper conduct of the Contest or breaches these Rules.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Organizer is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or not received as a result of a technical problem, a network failure, human error or an event beyond its reasonable control. The Organizer does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the registration or webinar platforms.

The Organizer remains responsible for its obligations that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Nothing in these Rules limits the mandatory rights granted to consumers or participants by applicable laws.

10. Modification, suspension or cancellation

Subject to applicable laws, the Organizer may modify, suspend or cancel the Contest, in whole or in part, if fraud, a failure, an error, a force majeure event or any other circumstance beyond its control compromises the integrity or proper conduct of the Contest. Any significant change will be communicated by reasonable means and will not unfairly affect rights already acquired by participants.

11. Personal information

Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, communicate with the selected person, award the prize, prevent fraud and comply with the Organizer’s legal obligations. It will be accessible only to the persons and suppliers who must process it for those purposes and will be retained in accordance with the applicable retention policies.

Participation in the Contest is voluntary. Consent to receive commercial communications must be requested separately and is not a condition of entry or of the award of the prize. Any publication of information identifying the winner will be subject to the required consent.

For any question regarding personal information, or to exercise a right of access or rectification, a person may consult the Facturation.net privacy policy or contact the person responsible for the protection of personal information at the contact details indicated therein.

12. Decisions and governing law

Subject to applicable laws, the Organizer’s decisions regarding eligibility, the validity of entries, the draw and the award of the prize are final and must be made in good faith and in accordance with these Rules.

The Contest and these Rules are governed by the laws applicable in the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply therein. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Quebec, subject to applicable mandatory rules.

13. General provisions

By entering, each person acknowledges having read and accepted these Rules.

In the event of a discrepancy between these Rules and any advertising or communication relating to the Contest, these Rules prevail, subject to applicable laws.

If any provision is declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force.

These Rules must be accessible from the webinar registration form throughout the Contest period.
