Here are the important changes from the most recent newsletter no. 004 concerning modalities in detention facilities and new letters of agreement.

Assessment of a patient for a vasectomy
If you are examining a patient in preparation for a vasectomy, you can bill for a complex one-time visit.
* You have 120 days from April 1, 2021, to bill for your services retroactive to June 1, 2016.
Lump-sum amount for the year 2013-2014 under the mixed remuneration mode (Letters of Agreement no. 360 – 361 – 362)
- For Letter of Agreement No. 360, the lump-sum payment will be made on May 28, 2021;
- For Letter of Agreement No. 361, the lump‑sum payment will be made on June 30, 2021;
- For Letter of Agreement No. 362, the lump‑sum payment will be made in July 2021.
The information will be sent to you through your secure messaging system (RAMQ). Once you receive this message, you will have 90 days to transmit your response, which will be based on a statutory declaration of your hours claimed.
Amounts excluded from the calculation of the lump sum: services provided as part of home support through CLSCs and for U-FMGs in facilities.
