Temporary unit (COVID-19)

You have 120 days from June 15, 2021, to bill or transmit to your advisor your services relating to on-call additions for which the effective date is retroactive.
For retroactive end dates to certain on-call packages, RAMQ will reassess the services paid. There is no action required on your part. Refusals will appear on a later statement of account.

New billing instruction for emergency travel expenses (codes 9203-9204)

Effective June 18, 2021, when billing the minimum fee under General Preamble Rule 14.4 – Flat Fee for a trip to a hospital center for one or more emergencies during the on-call schedule (codes 9203 and 9204), in addition to the start time, you must enter the end time of the trip. Therefore, if you make several trips during the same shift, you will no longer have to enter the element of context Different session (shortcut #A94).

We remind you that for each trip you must choose between one of the following options:

  • minimum fees covering all emergencies for all patients seen during the trip;
  • services rendered for each patient with the emergency fee increase.
